What Lies Beneath…

This isn't your traditional Before & After photo comparison but it serves as an excellent illustration of what can be underneath a water damaged floor.

This Groveland home suffered  significant water damage after a burst pipe flooded their second and first floor while they were on vacation. Upon returning home, they attempted to handle the clean up themselves by using wet/dry vacs and fans. Unfortunately, even though it seemed the standing water had been extracted, what they didn't realize was that it had seeped under the flooring. 

After noticing the wood floors beginning to buckle, they called SERVPRO. Much to their dismay, when the floors were removed a significant amount of mold was uncovered.
